Semoha Homes is filmmaker with background as dj and producer in the electronic music scene. Therefore electronic music is the base for all his projects. His first movie Return To Planet Underground came to life after having visited an illegal raves in the 90's where Semoha Homes got the idea to make a film about this. The film project was completed in 2024 and was selected by more than 47 filmfestivals worldwide and won several prizes like best experimental film, best independent film and best music. The film with its multiple themes gives a perspective on the lower levels of society.

In 2025 Semoha Homes started a new project by re-invision the classical masterpierce Metropolis by Fritz Lang, as the story has many parallels with his own film Return To Planet Underground. Semoha Homes wanted to make this 2 hour and 28 minute historical piece of art into a more watchable modern version without killing the core of the story. 

In 2025 he started with his third film called Black Rainbow.
